SITUATION

“I may be forced to drop coverage for many of my company’s workers. What can you do for me?”

It’s not unusual to find companies who love everything about their current medical insurance company, but can’t afford its rate increases. Rising costs can leave employers with no alternative except to discontinue benefits for all but a select group of employees. 

 

SOLUTION

The RJ Ahmann benefit specialists reviewed the company’s coverage and costs, and set out to find a more affordable group medical plan. We narrowed our focus to a handful of the most promising alternatives, and we presented the employer with a number of clear options.

We also set up an on-line application tool to cut application time and administrative costs.   Employees kept their coverage but not the old-fashioned (and time-consuming) paper forms. The employer was able to continue to provide this important benefit to all of his employees, at a reduced cost that contributed to a healthy bottom line for his company.
